FUSE Observation List

The FUSE observation list provides data for GI, PI Team, ERO, Discretionary Observing Time, and some calibration observations executed as of 30 June 2006. Planned observations for July 2006 are also included. Observations that are still pending as of 1 August 2006 are indicated by a blank Observation Start Time field. A blank Expo Time field indicates that the observation is ON HOLD for technical reasons.

Survey/Supplementary Programs provide a pool of secondary targets to provide scheduling flexibility. Survey program targets that have been observed as of 30 June 2006 and those planned for execution during July 2006 are listed in the FUSE observation list. Since there is no guarantee that a specific Survey target will be observed, the pending Survey observations are not listed. Lists of accepted survey targets are arranged by Cycle on the FUSE Observing Programs webpage. All Survey targets are available for Cycle 8 proposals.

Pending Survey targets will not be considered a target duplication for Cycle 8 proposals.

Further information regarding FUSE observing programs is provided at the menu link to FUSE Observing Programs where target lists and abstracts are provided for all FUSE programs (GI, PI team, ERO, Discretionary Observing Time).

Targets in the FUSE observation list which are used for instrument calibration are identified in a separate calibration targets list. Investigators intending to propose scientific observations of calibration targets should reference the Program Description and Proposal Instructions (section 1.8) for information and policies.
